Class of 2026 Graduation & Senior Events Overview

Canton South High School is excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. Graduation ceremonies will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Canton South High School.

An outdoor ceremony is planned at Brechbuhler Stadium, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to the Red Ash Gymnasium. There will be no rain date. Admission is by ticket only for both locations, and a live stream will be available on the Canton South Athletics YouTube page.

Each graduate will receive five tickets. Additional tickets may be requested by the student via school email, subject to availability. All graduation requirements, fees, and obligations must be completed for students to participate in the ceremony.

Key Senior Dates & Activities

Senior Service Day — April 24, 2026
A day for seniors to volunteer in the community and celebrate their legacy.

Senior Prom — May 2, 2026
“Masquerade: A Night in Disguise” at Embassy Suites in North Canton (6:00–9:30 PM). Formal attire required. Tickets: $50.

Senior Exams — May 13–14, 2026
Final exams are required unless the exemption criteria are met. The last regular class day for seniors is May 12.

Senior Scholars Ceremony — May 19, 2026
Recognition event for qualifying students (invitation only).

Senior Sunset — May 19, 2026 (8–9 PM)
An informal gathering at Brechbuhler Stadium for seniors and families.

Senior Awards Program — May 21, 2026 (9:00 AM)
Scholarships, cords, and awards announced in the Performing Arts Center (invitation only).

Graduation Day Details — May 22, 2026

Mandatory Graduation Practice — 9:30–11:30 AM
Students must attend practice to participate in the ceremony.

Senior Graduation Parade — Following Practice
Seniors will visit district schools to celebrate with younger students.

Commencement Ceremony — 7:00 PM
Students report to the auxiliary gym by 6:15 PM in cap and gown.

Important Requirements & Information

• All school fees, fines, and obligations must be paid before graduation.

• Chromebooks and school technology must be returned or finalized.

• A senior exit interview must be completed to receive a graduate yard sign.

• Final transcripts will be available in mid-June through SchooLinks.

• School email accounts will be deactivated near the end of June.

• Dress code guidelines apply to both awards programs and graduation
